The double g'/xlK^ varieties are produced by hj-bridizing, but yield no seeds themselves, ^ii®? fertile seeds being obtained from the single flower. The seeds should be sown in the early fall, and the plants kept in a place free from frost tor spring blooming. Choice specimens may be kept from }ear to year by pruning and clipping the flowers as soon as lhe\' have per- ished.
