The beak at the extremity of thegorget mufl be fmaller than the groove ofthe ftafF which is cut upon, becaufe it is tobe received in the groove. Care fhould betaken that the edges of the gorget near thebeak are not fharp, left, inflead of dilating thewound as it ought, it fhould only cut on eachfide when introduced; in which cafe, it wouldbe difficult to carry the forceps into thebladder.
