LIGHT RAILWAY CAR USED BY THE SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS long, from Quebec to St. Anne de Beaupre, a celebratedRoman Catholic shrine, this, in fact, being its originalbusiness. This latter road will shortly be converted toelectricity, the main line being extended 9 miles, making a30-mile run, and a branch line of 6 miles to be total length when completed will be 36 miles, all ofsingle track. The same roadbed will be used, the 56-lb. rails beingbonded with two Xo. 00 copper bonds. The overheadconstruction will be standard, wooden poles, of course,being used. There will be two trolleys side by side, inmultiple, each with a No. 0000 copper wire. No feedersare required, as the size of the trolley wire will keep thedrop within bounds. The road will be equipped with 50-ft. cars, doubletrucked, of a type similar to that used on the Detroit-Ypsilanti road, and are illustrated herewith. Each willprovide
