Advert for Jecomalt - a cod liver oil and malt extract in dry granule form and supplied packaged in jars and with an illustration of children gratefully accepting spoonfuls of this less than appetising mixture. The advert claims that it has a delicious flavour and none of the usual 'repulsive and nauseous' taste that cod liver oil is associated with! It also promises weight gain and good health.
