A pair of percussion pistols, John Dickson & Son, Edinburgh, circa 1860 Heavy and smooth octagonal Damascus barrels in 12 mm calibre with the original bluing, patent breechblocks and barrel ribs on the underside. Dovetailed rear and front sights, the tangs numbered "1" and "2", respectively. Each with engraved signature on top of the barrel "JOHN DICKSON & SON. 63 PRICES STREET. EDINBURGH". Back-action percussion locks with repeated signatures and finely chiselled tendrils.
