Two Thai waitresses outside a street cafe in Na Thon, Koh Samui, Thailand. Attracting tourista to eat in there matter where you go in Koh Samui food is always available. There is so much variety at street level that days can go by without stepping inside a the modern equivalent ofr the hunter gatherers many visitors skip from stall to stall sampling kuaytiaw (noodles), plates of raat khao ( rice and Curry)or muat phat(stir fries) for 25b to 40b. When the need comes for a restaurant Thailand's best are the decor-less mom-and-pop shops that concentrate only on food; most of these restaurants hover around 60 b to 100b for a main dish. As the prices increase so does the ambience- more servers , traditional Thai antiques , white tablecloths or ultra modern outfits.
