STRAIT (Aug. 11, 2018) – Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Travis McIver stands a lookout watch aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during search and rescue operations for a missing Marine assigned to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The Essex ARG/13th MEU is currently deployed to the 7th fleet area of operations.
