One of the largest plants measured was 17 inches high, and branched so vigorously that it measured 24 inches across! All the flowers are borne on top of the plant, and the proper way to treat this new type will be to plant the seed in a row, to make a neat, even hedge, when no supports whatever will be required. Grown as sepa- rate, individual plants, the slight support of a light stick should be furnished,âjust such as would be required for a dwarf, bushy Marguerite carnation. We predict that this â¢fore-runner of a new race* will beget increased enthu- siasm in Sweet PeasâAmerica's favorite flower. In addition to the Gray Friar we now offer two other, varieties of this class, both of which have been popular in the Tall Sweet Peas. Bush Gray Friar. As is well-known, the Gray Friar is one of ttie best of the Tall varieties; and in this bush form we have a perfect reproduction both in coloring and lorm. Pkt. 5C, oz. 10c. Bush Blanche Ferry. The plant is of true bush form and he flowers identical with the Tall Blanche Ferry which is probably the most popular variety in cultivation Pkt. ioc, % oz. 25c. Bush nonarch.
