A pair of French flintlock pistols, Jacquard in Tours, circa 1800 Blued two-stage barrels in 14 mm calibre, octagonal then round and smooth after cut girdles, with cannon muzzles. Ornamental gildings at the breeches. The smooth flintlocks each signed "Jacouard a Tours". Florally carved walnut stocks with slightly chiselled iron furnitures. Original whalebone ramrods with horn tips, the ends each with an iron bullet puller and jag, respectively.
