ASTROLOGY - COMETS The comet of 1533, from the titlepage of Nicolaus Bruckner, Ein kurtzer bericht unnd ausslegungÃ. 1533. This interesting wood-cut shows the direction taken by the comet, through the constellations Auriga (here shown as a charioteer with wheels on his feet), Perseus, clutching his sword and the head of the Gorgon Medusa, in the direction of Ursa Major. Because we look down on the north-pole in this projection, we have an opportunity to see the twelve images of the zodiac, circling the ecliptic.
