The contractionscan be but partly overcome,add only with the employ-ment of considerable hjmihypalgesia of the en-tire left half of body, face and extremities is present, more marked in the upper half of thebody, but present even on the left half of penis and scrotum,ceasing abruptly at the median line of the body.
