Pegasus, the mythological winged horse of hero Bellerophontes, an emblematic figure of ancient Greek mythology. This sculpture is the landmark of the modern city of Corinth, in Peloponnese, Greece. The ancient Corinthians had the figure of Pegasus on the coins of the city, and nowadays Pegasus is still the emblem of the city. The sculpture is located on the most central square of modern Corinth.
