From 1727, George exercised little control over British domestic policy, which was largely controlled by the Parliament of Great Britain. Oil on canvas, by Thomas Hudson (1701-1779), an English portrait painter. From The Connoisseur Vol XXX. [Otto Limited, London, 1911]
