Themen were very powerfully built, thick-set, withribs well covered with muscle and fat, powerful,coarse wrists and ankles, and square-shaped handswith short stumpy thumbs. Their attire was simple ; a sort of long whitecotton blouse buttoned over the right shoulderand ample trousers of the same material. Many,however, wore a felt * overcoat—or rather, overskin, for there was no other garmentunderneath. A white turban was worn woundround the head. A duffadar^ six sawars and six camels werestationed at Windmill at Mlshki Chah.
