AGRO - ELECTRONIC SHOW Alberta Agriculture in cooperation with the University of Alberta Extension Branch, is sponsoring an AGRO - ELECTRONIC Trade Fair and Seminar Show. The show will be held April 15 and 16, 1983 in the Sales and Exhibition Building at the new Red Deer fair grounds just south of the city. The AGRO - ELECTRONIC Show will present five major areas of agricultural electronics: management, communications, measurements, monitoring and control, and education. Many companies, both large and small, will be displaying electronic equipment such as moisture meters, temperature sensors, sprayer controls, micro-processors, regulators, etc. that directly or indirectly relate to agriculture. Between 75 and 100 exhibitors are expected to attend. In add i t ion to the will be present i ng exhibits, guest speakers seminars on such topics as farm electronics, micro-computer hardware and software, sprayer programs, productivity, video health hazards, and satellite crop monitoring to name only a few. In addition, a keynote speaker will talk on computer information for the farrrv-. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to make presentations to and receive feedback from the public about their products and services. Two seminar areas have been set aside for this purpose. As well, there will be films and videos shown throughout the two days of the show. As this is the first show of its kind to be held in Alberta I would encourage you to help make this a successful event by attending the show.
