Socially Mr. Blake atitiliates with the Ma-sonic fraternity and the Independent Orderof Odd Fellows, and is the secretary ofReedsburg City Lodge, No. 108, I. O. and a member of N(.)rthwestern Encamp-ment, No. 20, at Baraboo. Politically he hasalways been identified with the Republicanparty and he has been honored with severalimportant public positions, ha\ing servedas county register two terms, town treas-urer of Baraboo several terms, and assessorof Reedsburg for the past three years.
