By the construc- tion of the Omega bowl there is overcome what is, in most sepa- rators, a cause of considerable trouble—whipping of the cream. The cream from the Omega comes out smooth, not lumpy or frothy, for the reason that it is collected without fric- tion at the centre of the bowl and is discharged at the bot- tom. It is not disturbed by any grinding or whipping or by the unnecessary application of force to break or churn the cream globules, as in other Separators where cream finds its exit from the top of the bowl. The cream in the Omega is thrown to the centre and passes directly downward and out into the cream can, flowing freely, while the density can be regulated at will. The interior surface of the bowl and the core, which is in two parts, is all there is to wash, except of course the tank and milk and cream spouts. Some of the advantages of the Omega Separator over any other are: Price, simplicity, ease of cleaning, ease of operation, low down bowl, durability, capacity, lack of vibration, lightness of frame, capacity as rated, low rate of speed, perfect separation, only two parts to clean, improved quality of butter, absence of clogging in bowl, perfect regula- tion of cream density, smoothness and churnability of cream, clean skimming from start to finish of run, thoroughly and completely cleaned in three to four minutes, can be set in any corner, needing but two feet square of floor space, cream and milk outlet at bottom of bowl.
