A heavy flintlock wall rifle, Johann Job, Brig/CH, dated 1702, Heavy octagonal barrel with micro-rifled bore in 22 mm calibre. Dovetailed brass front sight and iron tube sight. On barrel top signed "1702" with double smith's mark of Johann Job (Stoeckel no. 7654). Strong flintlock with needle hair trigger (cock and frizzen old but non-matching, one lock screw replaced). Walnut full stock separated on forearm with underneath butt patch box. Iron trigger guard, wooden ramrod replaced. Length cm.
