He is a physician and drug-gist. Receiving preliminary education through thepublic schools of Kutztown, he graduated from the Key-stone State Normal School in 1896. On Oct. 1, 1896he entered the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, grad-uating in 1899. In Oct. 1900, he entered the Medico-Chirurgical College graduating from that institution in1904. He since followed both professions at the aboveaddress. Mr. Hottenstein was married to MabelM. Hill, of Paulesboro, N. J. This union wasblessed with the following children: Edward S., aged10 years; David 9; Marguerite A., 7, and CatheneB., DR. WM. J. HOTTENSTEIN of 197 Spicer St., Akron, Ohio, was born August 28,1S68. He is a dentist by profession and left hisnative town in the fall of 1890 for Akron, Plottenstein graduated in medicine in 1889 fromthe Jefferson Medical , Philadelphia. He prac-ticed one year, when he took up dentistry, graduatingfrom the Pennsylvania Dental College, 1890. He is married to Amelia C. (nee Yon Alt) Hotten-stein, and they have one son, Howard William, aged16 years. 189
