A Roman bronze statuette of a gladiator, 3rd century Secutor with a special eastern(!) helmet type (Tralles type), large rectangular shield, armguard, short sword and short greaves. Cylindrical base with incised pal! and wreath victory symbols. Laterally two holes (for attachment as an ornament?). An outstandingly well executed figure with many finely worked details. Dark green patina with reddish spots. Height with base cm.
