5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Oct. 31, 2012) The Military Sealift Command Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE-11) performs an underway replenishment with the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5). Green Bay is part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
