(Hedychium coronarium The plant resembles a canna, and is fully as hardy and easily grown. The flowers are pure snow-white, very fragrant, and have somewhat the shape of a butterfly, hence its name. Bou grain villea glabra Sanderiana, This beautiful free-flowering variety was introduced about three years ago, and on account of its free-blooming qualities has become very popular, espe- cially as a plant for Easter deco- rations. It is of strong and rapid growth, and the brilliant rosy crimson blossoms are produced from early in March until mid- summer ; in flower the greater part of the year. 25 cts. FLOWERING VARIETIES.
