Thesurface of the body is divided on each side by two vertical lines into threefields : in the middle field, which is by far the largest, we see on each side atree with ten branches, a decoration which is very frequent on the Trojanwhorls and balls (see Nos. 1899-1904, 1910, 1993, 1999, and 2000). ButI remind the reader that this, like all other patterns on the pre-historicpottery of Hissarlik, is incised.
