Grey clouds view, to East Ventre Butte, tourists and stagecoach at the intersection of Center Street and East Deloney Avenue, Jackson, Wyoming, USA

The town of Jackson, Wyoming, was named in 1894 after David Edward Jackson (1788-1837), an American pioneer, trapper, fur trader and explorer. Jackson Hole and Jackson Lake are also named after him. The town's economic mainstay is tourism. The stagecoach in the shot gives tours around the town. At the corner of Center Street and East Deloney Avenue, outside the Mountain Trails Art Gallery, stands Vic Payne's 'Memories' bronze sculpture of a pioneer on horseback holding a child and pointing out. The Legacy Art Gallery and Astoria Fine Art Gallery are seen further along East Deloney Avenue. The Jackson Hole Museum stands in the background of the shot. A dark clouds view looking west along Deloney, at the intersection with Centre Street, towards East Gros Ventre Butte.
