Gener- ally the earliest sown succeed the best. Sow tlie dwarf A-arieties in rows two feet apart; those varieties that attain the height of two o? three feet in rows three feet apart, and the rows of the tallest sort, four feet apart. The dwarf varieties should be liberally mnuured-. the tall sorts will run too much to vine if too freely manured. Bush the tall kinds when six inches high.
