YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 15, 2017) - Electronics Technician 3rd Class Christopher Rector, from South Pittsburg, Tenn., attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), needle guns on the miser tower. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
