Prehistoric bird fossil. Fossilised skeleton of a Primozygodactylus sp. prehistoric bird. Primozygodactylus was a genus of prehistoric bird that lived around 47 million years ago during the Palaeogene (Lower Tertiary) period. This specimen was found in Germany. Photographed at the In the Shadow of the Dinosaurs exhibition at the National Museum of Natural History, Paris, France, in 2011.
