Violets remain about the same and are a little more in favor. Pansies are selling well. Sweet peas are inij)roviiig in quality and some arc now arriving with 15-iiich to 18-inch stems. Snapdragon is also a little more plenti- ful. Golden Spur narcissus continues in short supply and realizes fancy prices. Campcrnelles sell at from $G to $8 and Paper Whites from $.j to $G. Tulips are scarce and short-stemmed. Free- sia is of good quality and selling well. Occasional tlowers of Iris tingitana are seen. Prol)ably about one bulb out of fifty of these grown locally has flow- ered this season. No more California iris for these growers. There is a better supply of callas, mainly Godfrey, and prices on these and Easter lilies are a shade easier. Mis- cellaneous flowers like forget-me-nots, calendulas, buddlcia, wallflowers, yel- low marguerites, mignonette and bache- lor's buttons are not abundant, and sell readily. Stevia is less abundant and will soon pass out. The local Cattleya Triana? crop is in season now, but supplies coming in are small and prices well maintained. Gar- denias come chiefly from New York. There is a better demand for both ferns and asparagus. Cinerarias arc now abun- dant among the pot
