Christy(who in 1819 married Susan, daughter of Francis , of Western Maryland), participated in thecampaign of 1812-14. He was a member of the fa-mous company of grenadiers raised for the BlackKiick service by Rev. D. A. Gallitzin, of Loretta, Cam-bria Co.
