The display of vegetables, garden flowers and wild flowers filled the main exhibition hall. Exhibits, thanks to the general rain- fall of the last two months, were of fine quality and it was a delight to see the keen interest taken in the exhibi- tion not only by the children and their parents but by large numbers of oth- ers. The encouragement of home and school gardens is the best way that this, or any other horticultural society, can interest the young generation in the products of the soil.
