Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads continues to work on the upkeep and beautification of Captain Ted Conaway Memorial Naval Cemetery at NSA Hampton Roads-Portsmouth Annex with the help from two very important groups. Renewed Remembrance, which was founded by two Medical Service Corps Officers, CDR Jim Nogle and LT Stephanie Burkhart, consist of a few volunteers from multiple #Navy groups and associations who help to clean, repair, preserve and catalog the headstones. They have completed about 40% of the more than 800 headstones at the cemetery. "I feel it is a duty and an honor to be able to maintain the final resting place of such a varied group of people," said Kenny Pugh, Site Director at NSA Hampton Roads-Portsmouth Annex. "I feel our efforts today may encourage someone to do the same for us in the future."
