CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (May 31, 2021) Camp LemonnierCommanding Officer Navy Capt. Kyle D. Schuman and his successor, Capt. David Faehnle, show their respects during a moment of silence during a Memorial Day ceremony held at Camp Lemonnier May 31, 2021, in honor of the nation's fallen service members. The 8:00 ceremony went forward with all branches of service standing at attention in the hot African sun. The ceremony included remarks by Commanding Officer Navy Capt. Kyle D. Schuman, and a wreath-laying in tribute to the nation's veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
