, Berlin, , Germany - Europe - The sculpture Balanceakt is a work of the German sculptor Stephan Balkenhol and stands in front of the Axel Springer skyscraper and the new building at the corner of Axel-Springer-Strasse / Zimmerstrasse in Berlin's Kreuzberg district. The work consists of a man wearing black pants and a white shirt balancing on a piece of the Berlin Wall, as well as eleven original pieces of the Wall placed around the figure. The monument is intended to commemorate German reunification and, in particular, the fall of the Wall.
