Costumed Kacak dancer representing Rama, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Kacak Dancing is a unique form of Balinese Dance accompanied by a male choir of 100 men. Originating from Sanghyang ritual dancing where dancers enter into a trance-like state and attempt to communicate with the dead, the modern version is performed throughout the year, mainly in the town and cultural centre of Ubud on the Island of Bali.
