New Yorkers, tourists and subway buffs travel on a vintage MTA Nostalgia Train Christmas season ride on Sunday, December 27, 2015. The straps, ceiling fans and rattan seats are a far cry from the plastic and air conditioning in modern subway cars. The Metropolitan Transit Authority has several of these trains for the various subway lines which they put into use for special occasions.
