Empire Style. and Fontaine published a work on Furniture,etc. Charles Percier was bcrn in 1764 and diedin 1838. He won the Premier Grand Prix deRome in 1786. He appears to have supportedhimself during the French Revolution by de-signing furniture and decorations, introducingclassical features.
