Plant in hills three feet apart. Pkt., 3c; oz., 7c; lb., 50c Early Yellow Bush Scallop. Similar to the preceding, but of a deep orange color. Both varieties are often called "Patty ; >kt., 3c; oz., 7c; lb., 50c. Perfect Gem. The squashes are from four to six inches in diameter, of a creamy white, with thin, smooth shell, slightly ribbed. .The flesh cooked, is dry, sweet and rich in flavor. It is a splendid keeper. Pkt., 3c; oz., 7c: lb., 60c Mammoth Bush Summer Crookneck. This variety is a very great improvement over the old variety in the enor- mous size and great beauty of its squashes. It is of a beautiful golden color, covered with warty excrescences, and measure from H to 2 feet in length. Pkt., 5c; oz., 10c: I lb., 25c; lb., 75c. Boston Marrow. One of the very best for fall and winter: from ovate, pointed, rind thin, bright orange, finely grained and excellent flavor. Pkt., 3c; oz., 7c: i lb., 20c; lb., 50c. Harblehead. A very good winter squash, similar to the Hubbard, but the flesh of a light salmon color. A very good keeper. Pkt., 3c: oz., 7c; \ lb., 20c; lb., 60c. Large Winter Crookneck. Neck long and solid; dry, sweet and rich flavored; a good keeper. 3c; oz., 7c; i 20c; lb., 50c. Hubbard.
