At the close ofthe war he went to Europe for two years, returningto Boston at the end of that time and beginningthe practice of his profession. He was surgeon tothe Boston Dispensary, to the Childrens Hospital,to the Carney Hospital, and is now one of thevisiting surgeons of the Massachusetts GeneralHospital. He is lecturer in Harvard Universityon the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian the last eighteen years his name has beenespecially associated with abdominal surgery.
