Such is the intention of Watt, who, for the past seven years,has successfully represented The Manufacturing Co., of Montreal,in Eastern Ontario. Mr. Watt was born in Edinburgh, Scot-land, came to Canada in 1888, and shortlyafter entered the hardware store of Mr. , St. Catherine street, Montreal,where he spent five profitable years ingaining experience, which stood him in good. stead on the road, and will be of greatbenefit to him in his present sphere, aspartner in the new hardware firm of Blythe& Watt, Bank street, Ottawa, who havebought out the well-established business ofRobert McAUen. and will continue thebusiness at the old stand. As a representative of The Thos. DavidsonManufacturing Co., Mr. Watt became welland favorably known to the trade, andthrough his untiring efforts the well-estab-lished business of the firm became con-siderably augmented. Socially he was muchappreciated, and his rich melodious bari-tone voice tended greatly to the pleasureof the annual gathering of the firmsemployes, as well as delighting his custom-ers and fellow travelers who had the oppor-tunity of hearing him. In resigning his present position, he doesso amidst the general regret of the firm and employes, but carries with him their bestwishes for a successful career in his newundertaking, and in which all readers ofHardware and Metal will heartily Jno.
