A pair of officer's flintlock pistols, Nicolas Boutet in Versailles, circa 1810. Octagonal barrels, slightly constricted in the middle showing remnants of the original bluing. Bores with microgroove rifling in 14 mm calibre. Gold bands inlaid on the muzzles, as well as the gold-filled mark "NB" and three additional marks on the chambers. The signature, "Boutet Directeur Artiste - Manufacture A Versailles", is engraved on the sides. Gold bushed vents. Lightly engraved locks with the engraved inscription, "Manufre A Versailles".
