The Charco Verde is located on the west coast of the municipality of Yaiza and is a spectacular beauty. It is called the Charco Verde by the color of the algae that has a small lagoon, ancient volcanic crater, now water. The lagoon connected with the sea water through underground cracks. Has been declared Natural Reserve.
