GULF OF ADEN (June 28, 2015) The personnel of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) conduct a replenishment at sea with the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE-7). Anchorage is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
