Thanaka is a yellow-white cosmetic paste produced by grinding the bark of the thanaka tree, usually pulverized on a stone slab, then mixed with water to form a paste. The milky yellow liquid dries quickly when it is applied to the skin. Burmese people use it as a traditional anti-aging and sun protection cream
