Watch your sheep ; see that they all eat, and that they eat up what you feed them. Sheep should have access to water at all times; like a person, they like to mix their food with water. Make your sheep eat up the entire feed; there is no need to waste half your feed ; that takes off the profits. A little brine on the straw twice a week will make it more pala- table to the sheep, and they will eat more of it. Sheep are as neat and particular as a person, and cleanliness is as important as the kind and amount of feed. Keep your water tubs clean; keep all manure, straw and the like out of the water ; if there is manure in it, pour it out and secure fresh.
