Protesters hold pro women placards during the event was organized by "8 maartcomité", an independent initiative group of active women from different organizations and backgrounds, who are committed to the organization of militant celebration of the International Women's Day in Amsterdam. At the Museumplein, hundreds of people gathered to fight for equal rights for women around the world.
