13/06/2021. Gravesend. Lifeboat . Sir William Arnold has made the journey from Ambel near Newcastle up through the Thames Estuary to St Katherine Docks Marina in London. The Arun Class Lifeboat is to become the UK’s first floating Lifeboat museum and latest attraction to be opened in the marina. Sir William Arnold Lifeboat 52-02, saw service in St Peter Port in the Channel Island and during her operational life saved over 227 lives.
