Local Union, 637, Hamilton, Ohio.—ThisLocal Union has drawn up an agreementto be submitted to the employers, whichcalls for an eight-hour workday and 35cents minimum per hour; overtime abso-lutely necessary to be paid time and a halfand double time for all work on present working hours are nine perday, or fifty hours per week, and wages are$ per day. The agreement is for oneyear, beginning May 1, 1910. Prospects ofhaving our demand granted by the con-tractors are very good. All our membersare in employment. ^ 4* ?J* Local Union 762, Quincy, Mass.—Wehave unanimously decided to make a de-mand upon the master builders for a min-imum rate of 45 cents an hour, an increaseof 4 cents per hour, and a Saturday halfholiday the year round, to take effect April1, 1910. At present we are worikng fulltime every Saturday and the half holidaywill thus be a new feature with us. Weexpect to get our demand acceded to with-out any trouble,
