Police at the scene in Little Lever, Bolton, Lancashire where they were called to Prestolee Locks at after a member of the public reported a car with a body in it in the disused Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal. Police are not treating the death as being suspicious. At this stage it is not yet known how the car ended up in the canal, but police say they are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
