The village of Norton near Porthcawl had its own water supply dug out from the rocky earth in the corner of the local park.
The village water supply at Newton situated some 20 miles from Cardiff or Swansea in the lovely village local park by the roadside, the stone wall has been added to in recent times to house the village sub station to the left hence the warning signs and barbed wire, who says water and electricity do not mix !
