The sixth Carroll, was HenryJames Carroll who married Elizabeth Barnes ofKingston Hall, Somerset county. He was the son ofHenry Carroll of Susquehanna Manor in St. Marysbut moved to the Eastern shore just before the break-ing out of the revolution and was an active patriot inthat part of the State.
